Initial Assessment

When you contact Gaskell Law Limited, we will offer you an initial assessment of your case for a fixed fee of £250. This may include attendance upon you and a short written opinion. This may save you fees in the long term if our advice is your case is unlikely to succeed. If you wish to continue with us, we will offer you the most appropriate fee structure, including “no-win, no fees” to fund your case.

Representation in Court

For court work there will be a fee covering preparation and the first day in court and if any other dates in court, there will be separate fees.

The preparatory work includes drafting legal arguments, attendances upon witnesses, drafting witness statements, lodging trial documentation with the court and opposing party, dealing with all preliminary matters prior to the court hearing.
